To be able to fulfil its undertakings, Otéo has built on an-all optical infrastructure, deployed up to the end customer. Tapping into its flexibility, reliability, security and upgradeability, optic fibre provides the Casanearshore companies with a unique opportunity to avail of a truly high-sped connection, offering a most performing interconnection between telephone, Internet and data services
Optical fibre
144 optical fibre strands run through the Casanearsore Park. These make it possible to link all the host companies to the two points of presence (POP) installed in the Park.
A specific optic-loop architecture was set-up, allowing at all times customers to have two distinct paths connecting them to the Casanearschore POPs.
Best-of-breed Metropolitan Area Network
The architecture implemented for Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) provides high level availability. All Otéo MAN equipment uses Ethernet technology.
The MAN reaches up to all the floors of the buildings, thereby fully serving the customers needs. Streams are therefore federated to the two points of presence in the Park.
Pioneering service platforms
Otéo provides customers with corporate Plug & Play telephone services.
Making the most of this zero-investment use, easy setup and straightforward parametering operations, the customer may order the number of telephone extensions he wishes and make use of a state-of-the-art telephone system (voice mailbox, conferencing, meet me service, business directory, etc.).
Adequately-monitored infrastructures
The Network Operation Centre (NOC) is available on a 24H/7D basis. It is used to monitor all the equipment in the Park: data transport network and IP telephony. This provides optimal operation of the infrastructures, as well as a proactive mode of action.
